Admission to First Year B.Tech: Seats through Various Schemes

Total permitted intake, 85% of the seats will be filled through JEE Main counseling, with direct admissions accounting for the remaining 15% of available seats.

By Direct Admission:

Applications must be submitted online via the institute’s website. Candidates will be contacted for a written exam and an in-person interview once the institute shortlists them based on their PCM merit at the 10+2 level. After passing both the written exam and the interview, the applicant will receive an admissions offer.

 ADMISSION TO B. PHARM FIRST YEAR:

Seats under Different Schemes:

85% of seats of the total approved intake will be filled through CUET counseling and the remaining 15% of seats of the approved intake will be filled by direct admissions.

Through Direct Admission:

The candidate has to apply online through the institute website. The institute will shortlist the candidates based on their PCM merit at the 10+2 level & candidates will be called for written tests and personal interviews. On successful completion of a written test and interview, the candidate will be offered admission.

ENTRY TO M. PHARMA & M. TECH

The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Dr. APJAKTU) holds an annual PG Admission Test and Counseling for candidates wishing to get admitted to the M. Tech or M. Pharma program. Counseling will be used to determine which qualified candidates are ultimately admitted. To be eligible for direct admission, a candidate must also pass the PG admission exam. Applicants who have a valid GATE/GPAT score are not required to take the written test.

Admission to First Year MBA Program: Via UPCET:

Through CUET Counseling, 85% of the approved intake’s available seats will be filled.

By Direct Admission:

Interested candidates must apply online via the institute’s website. Only after passing the in-person interview will the candidate who was shortlisted based on his graduation percentage be allowed to enroll.

Kiet College Hostel

A “Rector,” or senior academic member of the KIET Group of Institutions, oversees residential Wardens in each hostel to ensure that the daily concerns of the residents are swiftly addressed. An HMC (Hostel Management Committee, made up of Directors, Joint Directors, Dean SW, Chief Rector, Rectors, and Administrative Officer) oversees the entire staff.

Security guards are assigned to the hostel 24 hours a day to protect the safety and security of the residents. We offer a safe, orderly, and welcoming campus with a student portal and mobile app for online resident recommendations, complaints, and grievances about maintenance, food, and other issues. To ensure our students’ well-being, prompt action is taken to address the problems within hours.

Boys Hostel

The hostel offers pupils an experienced “In-Home-Away-From-Home” sense. We give every resident a safe, cozy, and healthful atmosphere while adhering to the same ideology.

The five hostels that makeup “Boy’s Hostel” are Chandragupt, CVRaman, Tagore, Aryabhatt, and Vivekanand (all reserved for first-year boys). Each hostel offers superbly designed, air-conditioned, furnished, and sanitary rooms along with the newest conveniences. There are common TV rooms and outdoor and indoor sports facilities on the hostel grounds for all of the guests. We also offer a top-notch, trainer-equipped modern gymnasium. Every area of the hostel is equipped with Wi-Fi. Every hostel provides its inmates with a daily supply of reputable newspapers and publications to keep them informed about current events. There are two residential Wardens for each hostel, overseen by a ‘Rector’, a senior academic member of the KIET Group of Institutions, who makes sure that the daily problems of the hostel residents are immediately resolved.
